RECRUITMENT DRIVE 

For all who are interested in joining our big family, NTU CAC Choir will be having our annual auditions during this coming September. Audition detalis such as date, time and venue are yet to be confirmed.

Our practices are held on Monday and Thursday, 7.30pm onwards. Upcoming events are Choir outing, Choir Camp and Annual Choir Concert 2011. For more information on practice times, points, commitment level, please refer to our FAQ page. We look forward for you to be part of our big family. =D

CLARIFICATION

Dear Students,

This is to address the email titled "World Choir Championships 2011" sent by a group who identified themselves as the "NTU Choir". We wish to inform you that the aforementioned group and its activities are not endorsed by the NTU Cultural Activities Club.

We also wish to bring to your attention that the NTU Cultural Activities Club Choir, or the NTU CAC Choir, is the only formal student Choir recognized by the University, and we come under the purview of the Student Affairs Office (SAO). The NTU CAC Choir is a member club under the Cultural Activities Club, one of the 16 student constituent clubs under the NTU Students’ Union that administers an umbrella of main performing arts groups in the University.

The NTU CAC Choir has a rich history of over 20 years and has represented the University in numerous national events and international competitions. Throughout the years, the NTU CAC Choir has gained support of the University as well as the local community.

ITS CONCERT TIME!

The time has come for us to lift our voices and SHINE

The NTU CAC Choir celebrates 20 years of choral excellence in Cantemus 2009 - The Beat Goes On.
The first half of the concert will feature an array of choral pieces significant to the choir's achievements, which span various genres and languages, followed by a compilation of memorable songs from the past 20 years in the second.
The concert has been a sold-out success in the past few years, effectively reaching out to audiences by showcasing the choir's versatility in presenting both professional choral arrangements as well as fun, dance-worthy numbers.

Ticket Price: $15 ($1 discount for OCBC Student Card holders)

Carolling

It's the time of the year to spread Christmas joy once more!

The NTU CAC Choir will be carolling at the following venues at the respective timeslots:
Bugis Junction : 19th to 21st & 23rd : 8pm to 8.30pm
Discovery Centre : 22nd to 25th : 3pm to 3.30pm
Shangri-La Rasa Sentosa : 24th : 5.30pm to 7pm

Be sure to catch us singing familiar Christmas tunes and celebrate this joyous occasion with us!!

Alumni Night Performance 2008

The NTU CAC Choir will be performing on Alumni Night held at Nanyang Auditorium on 4th October 2008.
We will be singing two songs:
Cantemus - Meaning "To Sing", it is a latin song which our concert theme is based upon.
Dui Dui Dang - A song in Taiwanese dialect which depicts an exciting train ride home.

Annual September Holidays Outing!!

Hey choir-ers!
Recess week is almost here! So is out choir outing!
This is an annual event created for the sole purpose of letting new members know each other better and relaaaax.

Welcome Week ECA Fair 2008

NTU CAC CHOIR will be at Booth C61, along the bridge in front of LT3.
Come visit us and learn more about our activities!

We will be performing on 13th August, Wednesday, 1150am-12noon, outside OCBC Bank.
Catch us singing Pasigin -our award winning song at the Festival of Songs 2008- and You Can't Stop the Beat from the musical Hairspray.

The NTU CAC Choir has returned from Olomouc with not just a Gold medal, but also as overall category champions with a score of 95%. Well done, NTU Choir (:

The NTU CAC Choir will be embarking on an overseas trip to Olomouc, Czech Republic to take part in the Festival of Songs 2008 (3rd to 7th June). We will be participating in the Folk Songs category, and hope to give our best and do the choir and school proud.
